On July 28, 2008, H.E. LIU Fei, Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of P.R.China to the F.S.M., gave a farewell luncheon for Secretary of Health, Sports and Social Affairs, Dr. Vita Skilling before she set out for Beijing Olympic Games. Secretary General of FSMNOC Mr. James Tobin was present.

Ambassador LIU welcomed Dr. Skilling to attend the opening ceremony of Beijing Olympic Games on August 8th. Beijing is ready to receive friends from the world and to provide the best services. She believes that the FSM delegation will have a successful visit and the athletes achieve excellent results.

Dr. Skilling thanked Ambassador LIU and the Chinese host for all the hospitality and thoughtful arrangements and she was very excited for her first trip to China.
