On June 13 diplomats from Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh participated in a charity sale of International Ladies Lunch 2008 organized by Bangladesh Women's Voluntary Association (WVA). Chinese diplomats sold home-made delicacies, introduced Chinese traditional cuisine, which were warmly welcomed by the guests. Dozens of diplomats from other embassies including Sri Lanker, India, Iran, Bhutan and Indonesia attended this program.

WVA is a famous Social Welfare Voluntary Organization in Bangladesh, which aims at helping to improve the social status and living conditions of Bangladeshi women and children.
